Have you roasted okra? It’s my favorite! I make this recipe in the air fryer but it can translate easily to an oven. Cut the okra in small chunks, coat with oil of your choice, and add salt. Then set it in the air fryer at 350*F for 10 minutes but check it at ~7 minutes and stir so they all get evenly cooked. Air fryers are very different so this step is a must.
