Series of Bi1-xF3:xTb3+ (BiF3:xTb3+; 0.01 ≤ x ≤ 0.10) nano-particles with diverse dopant contents were synthesized at room temperature by applying a simple chemical precipi-tation technology. To successfully achieve the BiF3:xTb3+ nanoparticles, we used the Bi(NO3)3∙5H2O (98%), Tb(NO3)3∙6H2O (99.9%) and NH4F (99.99%) as raw mate-rials.
