2023年12月11日 · I had some mild dryness and breakouts the first several weeks of using 0.025% with niacinamide from Apostrophe and switched to 0.05% cream from my doctor after 6 months. I got the worst acne of my life which went on for 5 months until I quit altogether a few weeks ago. I'm treating the acne and will go back to 0.025% until I can speak to my doctor.
Tretinoin .1% destroyed my skin, but before that .05% worked
2020年7月22日 · I find both Differin 0.3% and Tazorac 0.1% much less irritating than tretinoin 0.1% or 0.05%. I made the switch to Tazorac 0.1% at the beginning of this year and have enjoyed months of being acne free. I also use benzoyl peroxide, but I wash it off after a few minutes. You can try out Differin 0.1%, it's over the counter now and quite cheap.

2022年11月8日 · Most people cant even use use 0.025% everyday. Its best to see what works for your skin. Some people have a great tolerance to Tretenoin and can use it everyday from the start but most just get pain on their skin. Try 0.025% at first then if it goes well, jump to 0.05%.. then 0.1%. I can barely handle 0.05% and ive been using tretenoin for years

2019年10月20日 · So fair disclaimer that I was never a 0.025% tret user. But I was using 0.05% tret daily for over 6 months. Going from 0.05% Retino-A cream to 0.1% A-Ret gel was definitely the right decision for me, but let me answer your questions first. Going up in strength definitely came with a resurge of side effects. I was very well acclimated to 0.05%.

2024年6月22日 · I’m at 0.05 and will stay at this strength. I see better improvement after increasing from 0.025 and I don’t think there’ll be more improvement by jumping to 0.1 For reference, I’ve been using 0.05 nightly before moisturizer the last 7 years for anti-aging.

But everyone’s skin sensitivity is different. I did experience dryness in the beginning but then my skin got use to it so I asked my doc for 0.05. For 0.05%, I did it every night.
