Hey guys, today a friend mentioned something about seeing a video a while back, it was a documentary on some of the Pink Floyd members and their love for fast cars. Apparently Nick Mason (drummer) owned a 917 that he used to take to the track on weekends. He remembers more Porsche content but not any more detail.

My sisters car bought brand new in 1972 from the Porsche dealer in San Francisco. Photos are unfortunately faded. The dealer said there were only 6 911's that color for the 72 model year. Not sure if that was legend or not but the color was very different for the time and nice looking.

So, if you have the original yellow-green factory fill in your car, you can either add some blue VW/Audi blue OR completely drain and flush the coolant and refill with the new pink Porsche coolant. It is probably best to do the latter, just to be safe. (Dropped into the 40's here today.)

The motor is installed in a 70s 911 with a 7:31 r/p, and weights about 2300 lbs. Dyno results were 296 HP to the rear wheels, or if assuming a 12% - 15% transmission loss is approximately 336-345 hp at the flywheel.
