Obetrol was originally prescribed as a weight loss medication. Adderall has been repeatedly shown to be effective in reducing BMI and suppressing appetite. Why shouldn't we prescribe it to people who want to lose weight?

Also, just to clear the air, Andy Warhol took Obetrol, a prescription amphetamine based diet pill that was a predecessor to Adderall. Otherwise, Warhol was very drug free.
