Most reliable and/or easy to wrench dual-sport - PNW Riders
2008年3月20日 · I'm planning to buy a dual-sport sometime in the next year or so and while I've been mostly planning to get a KLR650, I'm wondering what you experienced folks think about the various bikes, e.g., Honda 650 DS models. My primary criteria are that I want the bike that's most reliable and easy to work on.

2013年12月4日 · Put on the dual sport kit for another $250. It is an absolute stump-puller and will easily power wheelie in third gear. I simply cannot imagine needing any more than the 50 horsepower this 260lb bike has.

2010年9月29日 · For starters, the MT21 is an aggressive DOT Approved off-road tire. I would recommend the next time around to purchase MT90's, as they are a 70 Tarmac, 30 Off tire. 21's are a 10 Tarmac, 90 Off tire.

2013年9月6日 · Most dual-sport rides around here involve about an hour or more each way of street before hitting gravel roads or trails. So street performance and durability is a big deal. Most rides seem to involve more gravel roads than real trails, so I'm curious what you think of the 700s on say something like Abbott Road.

2011年12月17日 · Unfortunately you have to have more than just a plate for your dual sport to use the trail systems now. I Was told this by officer friendly at Walker Valley last weekend. This goes for plated jeeps also, they are required to have the D-pass to use the trails. An ORV tag is an acceptable alternative.
