Dishevelled (Dsh) is a family of proteins involved in canonical and non-canonical Wnt signalling pathways. Dsh (Dvl in mammals) is a cytoplasmic phosphoprotein that acts directly downstream of frizzled receptors. [1] .

On the side, knockdown of DVL-1 may relieve I/R damage and restrain apoptosis after MCAO model in rats. In the part of mechanism, DVL-1 could regulate apoptosis through NF-κB.
