2023年10月8日 · Setting up for flat towing a 2023 Chevy Colorado z71. Following the steps in the owners manual for recreational towing but after the point of putting the transfer case in neutral and verifying by going to drive and then reverse it says to place the transmission in park but it won’t go into park without a grinding sound but if I shut the engine off then go into park no grinding!

2019年9月20日 · Apparently, there is a stupid procedure to follow, just like on the Subaru's. As soon as I started it up after installing the Knukonceptz Ultimate Battery Terminals, the DIC prompted me to roll down the driver's window, not once, not twice, but 3x, before it stopped showing up. At least it did tell me to do it, way better than a dead battery.

2024年8月17日 · I have a battery disconnect switch installed for flat-towing and tried that several times to reset, but it didn't work. Needless to say, we took it to the dealer when we got back from our trip. Troubleshooting/Repair: The truck is at the dealer right now.
2005 colorado drivers window and door locks will not work
2008年12月4日 · Did the disconnect battery and touch battery cables together for 10 minutes. Didn't work. I went to my local mechanic and he reset all my modules. Didn't work. What finally worked for me: I took the door switch out of the door and disconnected all connectors for about 10 minutes. When I put it back together, everything worked again.

2010年3月8日 · Happened to me again - cleaning up battery terminals. This time the heat gun/tapping the relays trick didn't work. I read somewhere that the door control switchboard has capacitors that need to be drained of power to fix the problem. I did that - I took out the driver's switch, battery still connected, and took it apart again (see above).

2010年1月5日 · Neutral safety switch is underneath your truck on the driver's side of your transmission. Pretty simple, I was able to replace mine in under 45 minutes. Make sure you disconnect the battery, place your vehicle in neutral and engage the parking brake.
