Why at the beginning of Sonic 3 is Angel Island in the ocean?
2022年8月1日 · The Death Egg crash landed on Angel Island after Sonic 2, forcing the island down to the ocean’s surface and, presumably, weighing it down. The Death Egg takes off for a short time at the end of Launch Base, but quickly falls back to the island. If the island rose at all during this time, it would have been forced back down as well.

2021年7月28日 · I am kinda puzzled geographically with Angel Island’s location in Sonic Adventure. We know its a big island that falls down from the sky when the game begins. We get to go to angel island, apparently, as I guess where the master emerald’s shrine IS Angel Island. This confuses me as to where the island begins and ends in the game’s geography.

Heck – South Island and Angel Island even have SIMILAR SHAPES – both a crescent surrounding a waterfall and harbor, with oddly spire-like mountains on the far right side of the island! South Island Angel Island. If it IS, then that offers a key point to this theory, that being where Sonic came from.

2022年7月24日 · Angel Island is not the small landmass with the Emerald after on it. Everything to the left of the jungle in Mystic Ruins is part of Angel Island. The temple in the forest was just behind where the emerald alter was before the continent was lifted into the sky. That's why Icecap from Sonic 3 is in the game.

2020年9月12日 · You have to remember that during Sonic 3 and most of & Knuckles, Angel Island was in the water. I do believe Knuckles was trying to "eject" Sonic and Tails from Angel Island and the two fell into the Hydrocity (which is actually in the water). Otherwise, this is a great attempt at connecting the areas!

2022年1月27日 · So in Sonic 3 & Knuckles the whole game takes place on Angel Island - which is a huge island filled with lots of different areas and environments. In Sonic Adventure, the opposite is true where the island is so, so much smaller and is barely an island.

2021年8月14日 · Angel Island rises in the sky because of the Master Emerald's power. In the beginning cutscene of Knuckles' story in Sonic Adventure, pieces of that Master Emerald was scattered everywhere. It must have been at the time the monster Chaos appeared and Knuckles figured it was Chaos that made the Master Emerald disappear.

2024年4月18日 · it appears in the Knuckles TV show intro very blatantly, a drawing based on it's Sonic & Knuckles sprite, and Angel Island Zone itself features extensively in the Rock Opera sequence. But as of Episode 4, it's not named or explained outright. Probably saving it to Movie 3.
