When my ds was born in 2000, it had grown to be the size of a softball.... but when I had my hysterectomy, none of my fibroids were larger than 3.5 cm., which is closer to the golf ball size again.

2007年4月23日 · Arly, I had three fibroids measuring from 5.3 cm and two at 3 cm and my uterus was enlarged to 14.cm plus an ovarian cyst measuring 9.3 cm All in all the dr removed everything including endometreosis and I lost 10 lbs that day. Everyone thought it was too much and I have since regained 5lbs and feel so much better.

If you had a 14 cm fibroid, your uterus would NOT be normal size. Tell him that he lacks credibility because he wouldn't show you or explain the ultrasound photos.

I simply don't relate to the 4 month uterus comparisons. Might help those who have been pregnant, but not me.

My 2nd Dr. recommended a LSH after I did (3) months of lupron shots to shrink my fibroids enough for my LSH. My fibroids got down to 9.1 cm total before my hyst with lupron.
