2021年3月8日 · Every 2 months or so I had to go through the same song and dance of getting charges removed for a vehicle with a similar but different plate number than mine. I had a compact car but the one was always a truck where 1 number was obscured on the plate according to the toll customer service folks.

Here is the thing. The Toll people have no control over the license plate people. They did what they could legally. Dismiss the toll, because you made a reasonably claim that it wasn't you. But that was all they could do. The limit of their authority. The maiden name combined with your address and the plate would worry me.

ExpressToll is legit for E470 up in Denver. The system sometimes gets plates wrong. I spent about 45 minutes last spring talking to a very nice lady that answered the phone about this issue. My license plate has ##O ### and somebody else has ##0 ### so they got messed up. It got cleared up within their system and my charges disappeared.
