2022年1月25日 · Overall, I think Baiken might actually be better than she was before and will likely see more people playing her. But I also see the philosophies that Baiken represents hurting the game long term. That's not a new philosophy for strive, but Baiken shows how little leeway there is in bending or expanding upon that philosophy.
Why does Baiken have a four star ease of use in Strive? Is she
Baiken is one of the best characters in the game right now, but the fancy tech she has is distracting people from this. The 4-way throw mix is a trap. Baiken's standard pressure is nearly unbeatable without DP and her defense is literally the best in the game since she can't be safe jumped. I am waiting for reddit to realize she's a problem.

Kliff was considerably older when he faced off and defeated Testament (according to the wiki, around 47 years old), and while he could never defeat Justice, he could viably reach a stalemate with her even at 79 years of age.

Make your opponent think you are not very bright (not too hard on Baiken) by, for example, making the H Kabari follow-up on block on purpose, as long as it's safe (you can usually tell it by the situation and distance, so it's ok), just to randomly do a crossup, grab into tatami safejump into mass destruction.
