Spanish-style hot chocolate, part of the dish called churros con chocolate, has a dense texture and is commonly made with a Spanish chocolate brand named Valor Cao to create a dip-like consistency.
Next it goes straight into hot oil. After frying, the churros are rolled in sugar or cinnamon sugar and served alongside chocolate sauce, cajeta (caramelized goat’s milk), or both, for dipping.
