Personally, the views from the top are hardly spectacular. I don't think viewing at night will enhance them at all. Copenhagen is best viewed from the ground in my opinion.

Only about 10 minutes. It's a gentle slope and a relatively easy climb even for some who is not overly fit. Just be cautious if you are prone to dizziness as you are moving in a gentle and constant circle and the last little bit is a flight of stairs that if you are dizzy are easy to trip on. The view from the top is definitely worth it!
